She's such a spirited little person, already! This kiddo did a handstand because she could I suppose, and surprised us all - including the ultrasound tech! She's weighing in at a whopping estimated 10.5 ounces (a little over half a pound). We love seeing all of her movement and I love feeling her jabs and kicks, even when she decides it's a good idea to tap dance on my bladder :)
I've been counting her kicks and movement lately more often and I've come to expect her movement during certain times of the morning, day, and evening. When you are further along in the pregnancy and you feel your little one move, it's always a good idea to keep track of the movement, I was fortunate, I could feel movement early in our pregnancy. One of the questions I've heard throughout the process has been "How did Dad feel when you told him?" Dad was just as shocked as I was, if not more so. He was running errands when I took the first test, so I messaged a video to him. When we talked again his response was, "but the line is faint, maybe you aren't pregnant". Lol, I asked him, "do you think I did the test wrong?" In the back of my mind, I was hoping that the test was not giving us a false positive because that can happen, that's why I purchased so many - because tests can be wrong. So I told him I would take another, I took the next test and the results were the same, I showed him those results as well. The second line was still faint. I read the Q&A portion of the instructions for the test and of course, it specifically stated that even if the second line is faint, it is still considered a positive test. He then said, "Oh" and it finally began to sink in, then he said, "but when, how?". I said, "um really how?" I then wished him an early Happy Father's Day :)
I love all of the belly rubs, tummy kisses, food runs, extra special care, massages, and love that we are receiving from both of our guys, from Boom and from EV/Dad. I love them to pieces and I can see and feel their love for us, even our little one can sense it and she's still in the womb. I'm so grateful and thankful to have so much love in my life and a supportive family of Grandparents, aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.
That's all for now until next time loves :)
